Mock project advertising Synchron’s brain implant device, Brain.io. This advertisement is designed to educate consumers on how the brain-computer interface returns abilities of mobility to severely paralyzed individuals, such as those with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis through a minimally invasive surgery. The operation is conducted by permanent implantation of a stent-like device through the jugular vein to the superior sagittal sinus. Eventually this reaches the motor cortex of the brain, restoring motor capacities to the patient using a receiver device which transmits neural signals to a decoder using electrocorticography.
